We are pleased to inform you that the Online Registrations for our next PMI event are opened. The main topic of the evening is "PMO or not PMO: Is there a standard ?" and will be presented by Didier Brackx (X4P) and Steven Deneir (X4P). In today's difficult financial environment, does your project management office (PMO) provide value or simply add to the cost of doing business ? Even in the best of times, the PMO's value and benefits are often questioned. Yet, when money gets tight and costs need to be cut, corporate executives often attempt to save money by eliminating the PMO. On the other hand come organizations still need to start up a PMO. Is their a standard ? What is the REAL roadmap towards a good PMO ?

2nd EVA Europe Conference - 24+25 November 2010 in Ghent

Earned Value is widely used on projects large and small. As sponsor of this unique event, the PMI Belgium Chapter is pleased to announce the second conference for continental Europe: EVA Europe 2010. This two day conference is scheduled on November 24th and 25th, 2010 in "Het Pand", the Cultural Centre of Ghent University. Astronaut Frank De Winne is the keynote speaker. EVA Europe is organised by an independent team of experts in conjunction with the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN), Ghent University and the Vlerick Leuven Gent Management School and the Geneva School of Business Administration (HEG).
